Ball joints are the bridge between your 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 or 1992 Chevy or GMC truck's suspension and the wheels. Properly working ball joints are critical to your truck handling and safety. Chevrolet and GMC truck ball joints are a high wear item. Signs of a failing ball joint include popping when your wheel is turned or thumping noises when you go over a bump. If a ball joint fails, the angle of your truck wheel will shift causing loss of control. You can see how important it is to replace your ball joints when you start to notice signs of wear.
