The Chevy truck replacement gas tank sending unit provides your classic with a valuable service. This integral part is paramount to the communications that exist between the tank, instrument panel, and fuel gauge. Over time, the gas sending unit will experience many hardships.
This sender will work in all 1947-1959 trucks with tanks behind the seat. It includes a fuel pickup tube that was introduced in 1953. To use this on earlier trucks, additional fuel line will be needed to connect to the line at the floor.
